I hope you enjoy hearing great classics during the midday. I love playing it! Some of my favorites are Elton John, The Who and The Beatles. Always feel free to phone in (1-800-483-1003) or e-mail a request (lisa@idigbig.com). I'd love to hear from you!

Besides my love of music, I'm into movies, live theater and concerts. I prefer a small venue over an arena or stadium show, but any live music is amazing. If you share my love of live music you should definitely check out 'Live In Concert' on Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. right here on BIG.

I also love to travel, play tennis, and spend time with my best friend, Daisy. She is a shelter mutt and pretty darn cute! She was the mascot for the Mutt Madness tournament. You can see her picture above.

Cereal Art
Thursday 08-21-2008 1:11pm ET

It's surreal cereal art! San Francisco artist Ryan Alexiev has created images of famous people using breakfast cereals. He's got one of Pamela Anderson, entitled Pamel-O's.

Joe Gibbs Racing Team Cheats and Gets Suspensions
Thursday 08-21-2008 12:15pm ET

Seven employees on the Joe Gibbs Racing payroll have been suspended indefinitely by NASCAR for their roles in trying to alter the results of a test on two of the teams' race cars after last week's Nationwide Series race at Michigan International Speedway.

Along with their suspensions, crew chiefs Jason Ratcliff and Dave Rogers have been fined $50,000 each. Meanwhile, Tony Stewart and Joey Logano, who drove the two cars that were manipulated during the tests, have been docked 150 championship points and are on probation until the end of the season - along with both of their teams.

ESPN reports that these penalties are "unprecedented" in the Nationwide Series.

Who's The Coolest Drummer on the Planet?
Thursday 08-21-2008 11:02am ET

Keith Moon died 30 years ago, but The Who drummer is still the "Coolest Drummer on the Planet," according to a poll on Planet Rock. Voters say, "He played with complete abandon. He also never played hi-hat. That equals victory."

Moon tops a list that also includes John Bonham, Phil Collins, Mitch Mitchell from the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Paul McCartney - yes that Paul McCartney. A journalist once asked John Lennon if Ringo Starr is the best drummer in the world and Lennon said, "Ringo's not even the best drummer in the Beatles. Macca plays drums on such songs as "Back in the U-S-S-R," "The Ballad of John and Yoko" and "Band on the Run."

J-Lo Needs To Get Over Herself
Wednesday 08-20-2008 2:32pm ET

Jennifer Lopez says she is training for a triathlon. She was on Good Morning America Monday to talk about how she might be entering the 22nd Annual Malibu Triathlon but, unfortunately, not everything went J-Lo's way during the interview.

According to MSNBC, Lopez was overheard saying that she "couldn't understand why everyone is talking about that swimmer" while she was at the show's taping.

"That swimmer" is none other than Michael Phelps. Just, like, the greatest athlete on the face of the earth who won an unprecedented 8 gold medals in one Olympic games.

Says a source, "[J-Lo] couldn’t come up with Phelps' name, and then she yammered on about how she was the one training for a triathlon just six months after giving birth and how that was the big story right now, not 'the swimmer.'"

We're at a loss for words.  JLo needs to pull her head out of her butt and take a look around once in a while.

Meanwhile, Phelps probably couldn't care less about Jennifer Lopez and the fact that she's thinking of competing in a triathlon.  He's probably daydreaming about his estimated $100 million future.

"He has transcended himself into a position that is going to sustain him for a long time," said Scott Sanford, managing director at the Dallas-based Davie-Brown talent group. "He has separated himself from just being a swimmer."

And he's given himself the potential to earn much more than the $5 million he already gets through endorsements annually.  Kicking it off is Kellogg's. Phelps has already inked a deal to appear on both Corn Flakes and Frosted Flakes cereal boxes come mid-September.  No Wheaties for him, sadly, but we're sure whatever money Kellogg's offered will be worth it.
